Due to the heavy rainfall we have experienced over the last few days and careful assessment of the conditions of the field, we are moving our Great Egg Hunt & Easter Bonnet Parade on Saturday, April 8th, indoors. This is for the safety, comfortability, (and cleanliness!) of all visitors. Event parking will still be in Lots 4 & 6 for the event, regardless of whether or not you are a member of the facility. Please be advised that there is less than a quarter mile walk from either parking lot to Ocean Breeze. The event will take place on the track level of the building, and all event participants must enter the building through the track entrance side ramp.
We will have two separate areas for the egg hunts; one location for ages 6 and under, and a second location for ages 7+. The egg hunt will run throughout the event, with 5-10 children permitted in at a time to collect eggs. Children are only permitted to collect 5 eggs each. This will be strictly enforced. We want to ensure that we have enough eggs for all participants. Eggs will be available while supplies last. Some eggs may contain a prize, others do not. Good luck with your hunt!
The Easter Bunny will be available for photos with your youngsters throughout the event. Please bring your own camera. We will also have arts and crafts tables, ONE CRAFT PER CHILD ONLY to ensure we have enough for all.
We will also have activities for children such as a Bunny Hop Race and an Egg in Spoon Race, (do not worry, they are not real eggs!).
Lastly, we encourage you to spend time with your children and create a fun Easter-inspired bonnet at home to showcase during the event. The wackier the better! Hats are optional.
